I started to install the rest of my suspension components but i am at a stand still with trying to get the hub assembly free from the old steering knuckle. Its probably due to rust build up. Any ideas besides trying to go cave man and bang the hell out of the knuckle to free the hub assembly, i am all out of ideas.

I wish i could of heated it but the hub assembly has the speed sensor built in so heating it was out of the question. You are able to see in the following pics.

This has by far been the most trying and frustrating mod i had to do. Only way i was able to break the hub assembly free was to cut the steering knuckle in and split them in half. I called Lexus for a price quote for just the hub assembly and was quoted $493.57. I used a hydraulic press, tried pounding the **** out of it and prying with a crow bar but it was rust locked to the knuckle.

Here is the new steering knuckle with the new hub assembly mounted

Im now ready to put everything back but decided to wait until i could replace all the castle nuts since most were rusted to pieces or broken.

I feel ya yesterday it took me like 4 to 5 hours to do a 2 hour job on the denali, just changing the tranny fluid resulted in my having to remove the exhaust to get the pan out!!! talk about a pain in the ****!!!!! good to see you got it going though...

After the pain i went though with doing the front driver side i decided that the rest of the install will be done on a lift with all the proper tools as my disposal. First time my car has been on a rack and i think this will be the only way to do it from now on

Front passenger side

Rear arms installed

All that is needed now is to dial in the camber and take her to the alignment for toe correction and ill be set
