Thanks guys. It's getting there.

All that sound deadening still hasn't done anything for all that fuel pump noise Chris. I guess I have you to blame for that.

Wow Shane, I'm loving the "attention to detail". Subtle changes makes the difference. I'm glad that SC went to someone who's going to take extreme care for it.

I need to put some sound deadening as well but you're right it's hard to quiet down the fuel pumps when they cycle lol

silverAg,

Yeah, mines horribly loud. I've deadened tank and of course all the back seat are. What I'm doing now is actually building an enclosure under the rear deck lid that attaches to the decklid. The enclosure is divided into three compartments. Left side sealed for left rear speaker, right side sealed for right rear speaker and the center compartment will have a port which attaches to the center compartment sealed from a fourth order subwoofer enclosure in the spare tire well. Hope that makes since. Enclosure will be deadened, mlv'd and then foamed. Hopefully that will help isolate some of the noise too. It's been pretty easy to do so far. I'll post pics soon. Car is actually in the shop now having some minor body work done.

Bored at work and my car is still at the shop so I thought I'd work on my door speakers. These will kind of be temporary as I'm going to rebuild most of the bottom of the door at a later date, but for now this will work. These are getting easier now as this is the third set I've done over the years. Used HPDE for the plate this time for strength and water resistence. Still more work to do but you guys get the idea. I need to cut the bottom back out of pod to let the Morel breathe a little. Morel 6-1/2" Elate going in door.

A little work done. Detailed motor and replaced air filter with new AEM. Moved HID control box to under each of my fenders and got them out of engine bay. Worked a little on door speakers and added some more deadening. Pulled wheels and sending my CCW's for perma-chrome. Tired of polishing.

Worked on the passenger pod today. Unfortunately when I got the car they broke the retaining clip for the left side but I can fix it. These pics show the cut out I made for the 6-1/2 to breathe a little better versus the drivers side pics I posted before.

Guess what I just got. Oh yeah. Thanks jwin (Jimmy). Ordered new cover slide and position indicator so everything looks new. Just need a shift **** now. I'll be installing this week. Jimmy was nice enough to alreadt have the 97 plugs on the shifter so it's just plug and play.

Well, crappy rayovac battery I had finally died. Headed to Sears for a platinum. Since I have everything tore out again for the gated shifter I ordered a Tein EDFC to install in my glove box for my coilovers. Probably won't ever use it that much but since it all a part.....

Escort 8500ci will be the next thing to be installed. Probably be next month before I get to that. So many projects going on with this car. I'm going to take detailed pics of gated shifter install for everyone. I got it in last night and everything works great. Stay tuned for pics.
