Goodies come in from DM

MC bushing installed, took a few minutes to figure out, but used a little help from the rubber mallet. :-)

Shifter bushing installed...

Speed sensor in vise, very dirty....

Notice the notch on the new part, align properly..

New piece, notice the notch on the side...

Installed.. Be careful not to overtighten. Its plastic.

New output shaft seal with OEM part number

Old one installed..

Pulling the other one out, remove the metal ring, it just pulls off.. Utilizing a seal puller, mans best friend..

Be careful about the metal band, it almost went into tranny.. Use needle nose to remove..if needed..

New seal, with the help of 100% silicone..

Shaft really dirty, use carb or brake cleaner to clean before install...

All cleaned up now..

Installed, remove excess silicone and let sit...

Removed bellhousing and spring inside... Replacing the other seal. known to leak..

Remove the bolts, size 12 mm, then use a little friend named wedge and pry so gently on the driver side...

Removed....pretty clean inside there, I was impressed...

Old seal on the backside.... looks good, but need piece of mind..

OEM new seal with part number....

Install on a vise, while on there, clean the old silicone off with wire brush or a drill...

Use the seal puller again and remove, pretty dirty in there..

Use 100% silicone again and install using a size 36mm, perfect fit in the middle..

Clean and remove old silicone this side of the tranny as well..

Use high temp 100% silicone before re installation this install, retighten bolts to correct torque, let sit. The re install the bellhousing and the spring for fork.

I noticed I need a drain plug on this tranny, if anyone has one, please LMK, Paypal ready..
since Aisin made 99% of all toyota transmissions. its highly likely the thread pitch and size are the same.
now you know ! it's a lesson learned.
Never piece a swap always buy the complete swap if you can because it will save you money in the long run unless you plan on working on the project for a long time then it doesn't matter you can take you time and buy stuff left and right and not feeling like you just dumped 1800 on swap all at once .
I peiced my last R154 setup when i was decided i didn't wanna use it anymore i realise that i alomst have V160 money in an R154 because everything was done right and it was the perfect setup , it had everything you need to do the swap except the pedals.
anyways what do you have left to do ? is the motor in yet? lol j/k take your time bro you came along way..remember that.

anyway. im not gonna mess with it. but it makes me wonder if the carpet is different for the dead pedal on manual cars versus automatic cars. hmmm!
I made those clear corner lights out of an extra pair of lense covers for the headlights. No one had done it, but i did. :-) thats what i did.
