Do both those trans swap use the sc's drive shafts?

Japspec.com This was the engine, ignitor, harness. This was the only one they had, I dont think they sell a lot of them in this area. They didn't have any transmissions. No more harnesses. I think they are more into the Honda stuff.

Not sure, but Im guessing you would need a beef-ier drive shaft for the 2j 6spd....

the stock usdm 550's should do around 500hp. I would worry about maxing them out while using a W58 if you want it to last. you should be fine

Engine out! Monday I will be putting the trans on and modifying the sc300 oil pan to work with the return lines.

New parts this morning. Throttle cable, fan, oem connectors for ignitor, electrical wiring diagrams, and tach adapter.

Coming along nicely you can use the stock driveshaft , and you don't need a tach adapter just jump the resistor behind the cluster and you good.
You need to use the SC300 motor mount brackets and dipstick.
