Default NerdRiot "Build" Thread

Hello everyone!! I've been lurking for a while, so i figured i should properly introduce myself and my car.

About a year ago i picked up a black/black 1996 sc400 with 118k miles.

Tint and some Stance coils.

Raderwerks RS8 wheels f:19x8.5 et18 215/35 r:19x10.5 et25 235/35

15mm spacers for the front

ive done some other small things here and there as well. alarm/remote start, all new speakers/head unit, 6000k hids, purple muteki sr48 lugs, and a resonator delete for a little extra growl. im in the process of deciding which lip/body kit to go with before paint...let me know what you guys think!! (sorry for the big pics, it wont let me resize them)

*UPDATE 12/23/11*

Decided to go a slightly different direction. Sold the 19"s for something a little less aggressive and much better quality. Also swapped the stock mufflers for some magnaflows.

Work meister s1 2p f: 18x8 et9 205/40 r: 18x9 et10 225/40

*Update 6/20/12*

Decidedly skinny wheels get slightly wider tires. Rubbed like a son of b at first, but nothing a little gentle hammering couldn't cure New tires are f: 225/40 r: 245/40. Also picked up a Soarer front lip (pretty sure its the same as 93-94 but soarer lip sounds much cooler), some 97+ sides, and 12mm spacers for the front. Pics:

Just realized every pic i take of my car is in my driveway o well haha

READ!!!

Great looking car though. Those lips look so exposed! I'd be so scared of every tiny curb!

Actually, I'm not a fan of the stretch in the rear either. I actually bought them for a different set of wheels that ended up not working out. I'll be getting some wider ones as soon as these have run their course.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys!

Next major mods will definitely be some aero bits follow by fresh paint then I'll start working on a manual swap. Just need to save up some $$$ first.
