DAMN!!! really?!? I was not aware this beast took that much oil. Now I guess the 150 dollar service with oil seems a little more worth it
hmmmm I think for the piece of mind, I will have to weigh the options and see what I want to my previous vehicle took about between 6 to 7 quarts. 9 quarts of royal purp or go to walmart and get those big jugs of mobile 1 for cheap.

I used to do that with my G35 and they always looked at me funny. I guess I can just grab some from wally world and take it. I would rather use synthetic to be honest.
I am assuming they use regular oil at the dealerships when servicing the LS

WALLY WALLY WALLY WALLY WALLY WORLD!! ROFL
hahahah xD last time i asked my service advisor shge said that they use full synthetic BUT it you go to a toyota dealership you have to ask them to put in synthetic for you
Did you experience them pulling to the right? Another member on here said he had an issue with it. Forgot what the reason was.
I have had no issues with pulling to the right. I have found that all of my RWD cars will pull to the right a little. I think that member needs to get a better alignment. The tires are great. I have had them for about 7k miles and have like the ride and durability. It is a harder compound so there will be more noise than the stock tires. I would estimate at about 15% increase in road noise

Nice plates guys, yeah I just looked at a walmart flyer and they had movile 5w30 fully syn for like 23 bucks a jug... multiply that by 2 or maybea jug and 4 quarts you will be a out the door for and oil change at around 60.00 dollars, assuming you have filters or you go to the dealer. but compare that to what the dealer will charge, you will save damn near half.
I'll try them next set of tires. I believe he went to the dealership for alignment. They even put a set of stock wheels on the car to show him that it was indeed his tires.

I have been tempted to try the Pirellis but I was concerned that the tread wear rating is like half of what the Continentals are rated at ( I know the tread wear is based on tires from that company only, but they all make tires to compete with each other so they still have to mean something in cross brand comparison). The only thing I dont like is the increased road noise , but I guess thats the trade I will have to make if I want the tread life. I am tempted to try a set of Pirellis at some point though

I have falken 452 and the wear is pretty bad. I already see signs of wear and i've only had them for less than 2000 miles. The noise level on the falkens are pretty noticeable. I'll give pirellis or continentals next.
