Sooooo the build is kinda on a halt right now... Gf is in the army and is moving to ny this week and I causaly said whouldnt it be kool If I just left work jumped on a plane and meet you there?.... 30minutes latter she called and said be at the air port at 7am theres a ticket waiting... so now im moving to ny this weekend, just packed up in one night and now im gone lol so car is still in south tx at pops house... So untill im on my feet up there car is garage decor....
With that said wheres all the NY ppl around west point academy at???
Damn guy. Just when it was getting good. I'll be doing some similar stuff to my sc400. Can't wait. What exactly did you do to the dash? And what gauges and all that are you using? (brand and to monitor what). I kno exactly what I want to do with the exterior and everything. But interior is driving me crazy lol. Can't decide. Keep it up broski!
I have boost, water, a/f, and rpm. Auto meter on water and boost the boost is actually a auto meter srt4 one, plx wide band, and just a cheapo sunpro for rpm, I dont need it but its there for diag reasons.
As for the dash its been gutted and trimed on inside held in by 2 bolts and sanded and painted cheapo 99 cent black spray paint...
Gotcha. I want to cut mine and do half-dash too but I might not depending on how we're going to do the cage. The gas tank is in the trunk correct? Because I wanted to run my cage to the rear. Have you been able to drive/slide your car to see how that cage feels as far as sturdiness? Function is going to be the main factor on mine for sure. I always like going back over this build. Mad inspiration lol
Yes tank in trunk, and I have drifted the car several times, car is butter smooth the knuckles allow for abuncha angle sooooo sooo nice... As for half dash I love it, I wanna get 92 dash and do it to for the car that way I got no pass air bag hole..
Well car is still in tx, when we get to ny after visting her fam in utah I will arrage a way to get the car up there, im dieing to get some east coast drifting in...
