you need much toys to do this mods on the car, the SC is a easy build car, much better as IS300 mk.I or RX300 mk.I ( i had both with much modifications) here in the forum you found very very much informations for mods, or can ask with pm the member for informations do not be shy, first thinking, then work

In Austria.. we make several times in the year "workshops" with friends and new Lexus Members with the cars to help all to install brake lines, coilovers, change bushings, car audio and many other things, with enough beer and pizza its no problem

its every time funny to find new friends, see old friends again and help also with small things (lamp change, oil change, fender modification, supercharger upgrade,...)

greets

Tom

Thanks!

the spring comes slowly in europe, and its time to install the collected parts

at first, i have vertex clear side marker i hope the match good with the red color.

Yesterday comes the parcel from NST with the W58 Shortshifter. He fits good, but i will install the original upper shifterpart. The plate fits not perfect, maybe i use the original part.

NST Shifter and my W58 Shifter from a 96 JAP Supra

today, would to install the GTSPEC rear strut brace, the parts fits good, but the woofer is too big and i need a new one.

the new one is from phonocar (italian brand), a flat 10" Woofer special for freeair, with this, i hope is enough space

all other speakers are also from phonocar, only the front tweeters there are the original one.

tomorrow i will install the side marker

Super clean SC! I like the care you take to keep it stock looking. Favorite part is the wheel fitment and ride height. A lot of members are big fans of slamming their cars but I prefer something like yours. Very nice, keep up the nice work!

Hello!

last week, i would install the GTSPEC rear strut brace, but the had conact with the fuel tank

here pictures, i tested with nuts and washers to see, how much is the strut to low, i say 8-10mm to have no contact with the fuel tank.

with nuts and washers

The answer from the ebay shop was:
We spoke to GTSPEC. They told us when you install this you have to make sure nothing is bolted down yet. You want to keep the end plates on each side loose and install the center shaft. Once you have the center shaft install you can bolt down everything. GTSPEC did say the center shaft does make contact with the Fuel tank bolts. But there is nothing to worry about it will not make any noise or affect the performance.
ok.. today i installed the strut again and the fits good, only i used a old a piece of a inner tube between the fuel tank and the strut to have no scratches or noise.

and i changed the nuts and the snap ring to self locking nuts.

next step is to modify the Vetsports front strut brace and install

also comes this week from a friend a yellr box to correct the speedo when the mt swap is done.

Hello!

long time ago a update to the MT swap. last week, we modified the T-56 bearing to have no weak point with the 4AN adapter. The hole have 11,2mm diameter, we cutted a M12x10 thread and installed a M12x1 to 4AN adapter. before, we closed the holes for the clamping pin with two-component metal adhesive. We used 3 copper seals, we would not cut the adapter, the are a very fine thread. the thread saved with thread locking fluid, that 100% tight

i ordered 4AN line holder to mount the lines on the bellhouse.

i looked several pictures of installed bearings and find my own position for the holes

best tool for this, a stainless steel step drill

Next step was to install the line holder. i drilled the hole in the holder bigger for a M6 screw. a hole in the bellhouse, M6 thread and tested look´s fine i hope, the is enough space in the car for this.

greets

Tom
