Not really a update. My SC sleeps in the covered entrance. Its winter in Europe

The Spec stage III Clutch kit is on stock, the bolt performance flywheel on the way. I looking for lowering springs to a correct high of my car

2 transmissions comes in the next 2 weeks to me, a old W58 mk.II for parts and a W58 from a Supra MK.IV. Slowly comes all parts home for the MT swap

Hello!

Update In Europe comes the spring! Next time i will start the next mods

Yesterday comes the Supra Eibach springs from USA, for 80 dollars bought and in very good condtion!

today, finally, the W58 comes to me home from germany! 125k km not more, with oem shifter!

i tested it , and no shift problems

SPEC Clutch fits pefect

test-drive with 1800rpm

i orderd in UK parts for adjustable sway bar links and a friend makes for me the inner tie rod spacers to modify the steering for more angle

next week, i think i start with the spring swap and hope, the SC looks good

HY!

in the last weeks i had no muc htime to do something, but my car stand up straight! i installed the eibach supra TT springs on the eibach shocks on the top groove (original position).

here some pictures

ready to change

left side eibach TT, right KYB Supra TT OEM Spring

After removing the rear wheels, i installed new centering ring, fits much better as the old one

My cat "Jimmy" checks my car

Front springs left oem supra NA (i think) and right Eibach TT

first parts for a adjustable sway bar link

with modified lower strut support to have no 15mm lower on the driver side. the driver side damperholder is 3mm more to the center of the car and the lower arm is 2mm shorter as on the passenger side.

first modifcation, 5mm more to the wheel with the holder, 2nd was 4mm up, and the car stands straight! yeah!

looks perfect, drives perfect! i ordered in a small shop longer screws in M10x1,25 to have the complete thread to hold the holder down on the arm. before, i will weld the discs and paint it, to looks original and have no chance to shift.

also i will install this week the TEIN upper pillowball supports

i orderd Brembo Discs and TRW pads for the BBK

today, i cleaned the LS calipers and painted with VHT paint in gold and transparent

i hope, i can tomorrow paint the rear calipers and change the rear upper supports

greets

Tom

Great work sir, I painted my BBK the same color with the same paint. What advantage will those top pillow mounts give you over the current ones?

i found picture on my cam to see the difference between the TEIN and the OEM support i think, the TEIN are ideal for drift/trackcars without coilovers

the painted rear caliper is installed, looks much better

Another nice added touch. I love it when parts come in and they install rather easy. Progress looks good.

Thanks!

the other caliper is removed and painted and dries for tomorrow. The VHT paint is very good, all other products here in europe are poor and costs a lot more.
