Such a cool thread. Your wheels are perfect for the IS especially the color of the car.
I actually like the Vertex front on your car.

Thanks dude. Yeah, I really like the front lip now. Took a little getting used to, but I wouldn't part with it for any other lip

Thanks for all the "wheels are perfect for the car" comments too. I really tried to assemble, if you will a complete look/feel.

Now I'm just debating if I should paint my front and rear calipers yellow, with a black Lexus decal. Right now they are painted black, with a silver decal.

Thoughts?

Car looks badass, mdgrwl. All your mods flow all throughout the car. You have a "detailed-simplicity". Lovin' this.

Thanks a lot, I tried to have a flowing theme. Clean & Sporty.

Its funny you said "detailed" - it may be my OCD but I actually use a caliper to adjust my coilover's height by the millimeter so all 4 corners are exactly where I want them.

I've also measure my offsets down to the millimeter to push the envelope as to how aggressive I could get without rubbing. That meant taking in my rear wheels by 2mm. (5mm spacer, down to a 3mm spacer). The rubbbing noise just killed me. But now with the 3mm spacer, no rub and its still has great poke to it.

So yeah, "detailed" is a good descriptive word... Or we can all be honest and just say I'm an obsessive compulsive buffoon!

If they are OEM, then don't color them. If you must, just color the front ones since the rear ones are embarrassingly small anyways. I think Silver with Gold or Black "Lexus" decal sprayed over with lots of flakes will flow better on your car than Gold/Black.

Thanks... yeah I was thinking the same thing about the rears calipers being too small.
Can't really tell in the pictures but I do have both the front & back painted gloss black w/ Lexus decals... I think I'll just leave them the way they are. Looks OEM and clean IMO. So thanks for the input!

Even your winter setup puts my summer setup to shame Isn't it kinda early to switch?

Then again I run the same winter setup as summer Hope I don't get killed this winter.

I like this pic, the extra splash of dirt from the rain makes it look gritty.

This car is one of the cleanest and simplest 2IS's.
