Project Black will get a sound system upgrade, as well as shopping for matte black rims, then tint, then finish up matte black wrap...

it will then get the 5Axis front lip from the Sharpie Lexus while sharpie lexus gets a new lip kit..

dudee matte black has to be done right. if u pull it off then i give u mad props! but ive seen a matte black IS before. its not that great. but maybe its cause whoever did it was cheap about it. heres the pic:

Im still always shocked when someone treats a lexus like a honda..OLD honda at that..people dont even do that to newer hondas. Blows my mind..

Liking it and even though the sharpie one causes my eyes to hurt, I like it a lot.
My IS is matte/silk black - just got to finish the skirts and mirrors.
With the right rims, right offset etc, it will be great.

 

Can't wait to see the final outcome. The matte is looking right on your car thus far. I like the rear emblem with the CF inserts alot. You're going to lose those wheels right?

 

so where can someone find this matte color vinyl? Is it available to anyone? How hard is it to install/remove?

sry... but this project will be finished soon....was put off for a bit... ordered LFA style rims in matte black and they will arrive tomorrow...

Car is dropped on Tanabe NF210s from the Sharpie Car.. and runs a Prototype Penske Tuning Exhaust. Interior LEDs provided by Lighting Techniks, and will get the Fujita F5 Intake from Sharpie Lexus.

Friday i mount them on LFA style rims... and will be finally done!
