Details of your supercharger kit, please?

Who made your bracket? How much boost? Supporting mods? Engine management?

 

aimgain do like 5 different kits for GS, tho true vertex is sportier than all.

Hey man sorry for not getting back to you on PM. The kit was made by AAP Motorsports in GA but they are no longer is business they were absorbed by R2B2 Motors. I think Chris Anderson has a new shop though I will get more info about that. So I have the super charger along with the SRT intake and ECU. My car had over 100,000 miles on it when it got boosted and some of the internals were not strong enough to support it. So some Supra internals were added and no problems since then. Sorry I can not give a great amount of detail like some of the gurus but the fact is I am not capable of doing my own work.

I am on 8-9 pounds of boost and dyno'd at 305 RWHP. Which I think is about 125 over stock? I don't drive it much and I just want it to be a problem free system.

Nothing too fancy to look at but functional. This however may change in the future.

 

im excited to see the car transform. it looks like what you have picked up it will be an extreme change and im anxious to see how it turns out..

 

Glad you started this thread Mark. Looking forward to the progress. Are you going to use R2B2 for the make over?

 

Actually it appears that R2B2 has gotten to be too successful for us little guys. I was told that they are closed to the public and will only accept ceratin projects.

car is actually going back into the shop... hopefully my new wheels will come in soon.. as soon as i got it sitting right i will bring it buy and i'm really considering the vertex kit
