honestly it's pretty disappointing. i did it with only clearance in mind so it's 2.25" crush bent aluminized steel. i had picked this shop with the intention of having them do a custom mandrel stainless (one of the few local shops that do it afaik and of excellent reputation) but we decided that based on my goals and height it probably wasn't worth the 3x as much money. very satisfied with the quality of work/service but even though i didn't do it for sound i kind of expected more in that regard.
i have no doubt i'll redo it in the not too distant future (still scrapes sometimes) and i may upgrade or try to get a better note out of it with some aftermarket mufflers.

no real problem, just not what i expected from removing the restrictions and going dual all the way. it's a little raspy with the pedal on the floor but healthy under idle/moderate gas. i was expecting american v8 from what i've heard others say.

rasp is due to a combination of your configuration and that its a green exhaust. as you drive the mufflers and pipe will bed in with carbon, and smooth the sound over. mine sounded almost as if it was straightpiped when i first brought it home after getting the exhaust made lol.

the drop is probably 4-5" with jic coilovers maxed out all around (ss kit to be installed for up to 20mm more in the rear and geometry correction up front). wheels are 18x8.5/9.5 +10 (fs if anyone is interested).

i really don't get them that dirty so it's not bad at all. i soak em, hit em with the spray wash, then wipe em down again by hand if i'm going somewhere. never really worry about between the spokes.

Update time! Are you excited?
... Well you shouldn't be.
The starter went out, so I shelled out $200 to get it towed to my shop. Dug in at my ultra slow pace and it's been like this for a while (spent my money on some stuff for the Q). A starter and EGR block off kit (pretty engine) have been received from Lextreme. I'm going to replace the housings on the harness connectors (most broke during disassembly) and get all the other necessities when I can afford them. I spent a few hours cleaning up the motor though. Looks good.
I bought some ultra OG all clear tails from a friend for max old school appeal. Definitely not for everyone but I think I'm going to like them. They look like this:
I also installed my SS kit. I'm going to have to start addressing issues (geometry, clearance, etc.) caused by extreme lowering soon.
If you look you can see where my axle was contacting the subframe even before I added the kit.
This is how it sits on 18s. Might add some 10-15mm spacers or I may switch up wheels.
I got more stuff in progress/planned but won't really move on anything until I finish the starter.
Stay tuned...
