DIY Taillights
How I built my Taillights
Concept: AMG/Euro look
Results: Simple & Clean
- Fabulous outer Taillights with OEM inners
- Sprayed with matte clear paint. Then wet sanded the turn signal and reverse area and then applied smoke vinyl. Heat treated the corners and trimmed with a blade

yes i did.. was easier than i thought. it's mostly the thought of f'ning one up and having to pay $$$ for a replacement that plays tricks on ya.. but if you have ever cracked open a Honda headlight, then be confident to try a Lexus lens. They're all the same.
I'll dig up some photos of that when I get a chance.

For SEMA last year, all the cars got sponsorship from F5 Fujita with their intake systems. We all know the 3UZ creates A LOT of HEAT under the hood.. so any standard short arm intake would be sucking the heat coming from the left-side headers..
..so, I made my own cold air set-up. Now the cone filter is right behind my lower left grill getting some direct cold air.
No cutting.. fits right behind the headlight with 3" pipe.
