Yeah the controller didn't have a L setting and I checked out the instructions and apparently I have to change something. I'll figure it out later today.

excuse my ignorance. My question is this; every lowered car i have seen it appears that the wheel is tilted inward at the top, making the tire run on the inside of the tread. Is this actually the case when you lower the car or is it just an optical illusion thing?

your eyes are perfect. that's hwat happens when a car is lowered dramatically. it's also a desirable effect for those of us into that kind of look. yes it does wear out the tires much faster, so we usually dismount them and flip them on the wheel to get more wear. even so, i go through rear tires about every 5 months or so. gotta pay to play!
