I'm Jenn, and this is my IS :)
TRDRAV4: hahah Kaz is (for 3 more days anyway) my supervisor!!!!!! Hahahaaha
I started as an MT at TMS, but then realized I didn't want to go out to the region, so I opted out- and I ended up in the Toyota call center (misery in its purest form haha ok I'm exaggerating a tad bit there), the after interning in the Toyota call center, I moved to Scion's call center and in 3 days I'll be moving to the Scion headquarters building as a Customer Services Analyst (ooohhh I like the sound of that!)
At times I wish I could just buy the IS so I could go all out and mod the crap out of it....but having the lease is nice too-- insurance, registration AND maintenance paid for by TMS...gosh what more could one ask for haha

It would be cool if we could mod our cars (Eibach was looking for a Corolla XRS to test springs, which i am stuck with for 2 yrs), but then i don't think it's worth sacrificing my job to violate company policy. Besides the awesome benefits (my classes are reimbursable, kaiser for free, wellness, etc.), that's part of the reason why i work here
Hello! I’ve been checking out the forum for a while now, but I didn’t want to sign up until I had my new IS
My name is Jenn (As if the title didn’t give that one away
), and this is my daily driver (so the extent of mods I will do to it is very limited)- I have a 94 Integra as my “project” car and I try to limit the modding to that car (Notice the word TRY lol)
I work for Scion Corporate (TMS) out in Torrance, CA, but I drive a Lexus IS250 (I had 2 tCs prior to the Lexus and I figured it was time for the tC to grow up hehe)
I have Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs and some vinyl overlay here and there
Oh and I must say, the IS250/350 Photography thread is my all time favorite
—I am looking into a Nikon D80 currently so I can take higher quality photos—For now, Photoshop is my best friend hehe
I look forward to posting in that thread once I get some decent shots! And I look forward to meeting members =]

I got a Preowned with 7 miles on it hehehe j/k j/k

TRDRAV4: I agree, the benefits here at A-Mazing! If I could have had a region position in the LA region, it would be perfect! But I didn’t want to risk staying in the MT program and then only having Kansas city region or NY region open up or something like that- I realized that being a field traveler just wasn’t for me—travel is fine, but relocating…not sure if I could do that, I love SoCal waaaaay too much!
Sorry you didn’t get the Lexus job =( If it makes you feel any better I had applied to Jaguar in the marketing department before I got the position at Toyota and I had interviewed for almost 2 hours (honestly at the time it did not feel like a 2 hour interview haha) and they had waited so long to tell me that the job fell through and they didn’t need anyone anymore that I missed an opportunity at Toyota and had to end up waiting a whole YEAR before I could apply again hahaha (That’s when they were still under FORD) :P
sith120 and mvlbr: Thanks a bunch
(really I am shocked this thread isn't buried in page 5-6 by now haha)

why an '09? have you seen the questionable direction lexus is taking the 2is's styling? (read: chrome pieces on the side mirrors, rear tail lights...)
haha sure! But um.. you'll have to pay for them haha - I get parts at dealer cost + up to 10% I believe (I haven't used this lovely benefit just yet hehe)
I know, there are things I like and dislike about the 09-- I definitely do not like the tail lights or the side mirror chrome =/ But its face is ok with me-- The reason I'd get an 09 is because I only have a one year lease on my 08 through TMS, so when April 09 rolls around and its time to order the next car, I"ll probably want to stick with the IS and so I'll end up getting an 09
