new ride!

Ok I finally I got the fronts done. They are MUCH harder than the rears I have to say... The only other problem with this kit as far as not providing enough hog rings is the locations of the rods and the length of the thing that holds the rods.
The length is extremely important for the fronts so you can actually get them to clamp.
I left my front centers untouched for now. But I will have some new rod holders thingys made and install them one day when im bored. For now i'm happy with the results and when you look at the comparison shot, you'll see why... lol

Thanks!
Well guys... The restoration is complete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll have some pics tomorrow or something. i'm working on getting a skin made for the center console armrest.
- The motor is running well and cleaned up. (trans still needs the solenoids)
- The interior is clean, fresh and put back together. (yay for air freshners)
- The trunk is clean and empty.
- Electronics are wired up. Oil and vac line's are in place.
- Gauges are mounted up. (Waiting on AEM Tru-boost still)
- Suspension is in good shape
- Brakes and rotors should last me a little while more
- Getting my front wheels this week also.
Turbo kit was already ordered and should be here by mid-week. Tomorrow i'm going to finish prepping the car (loosen front bumper, airbox, remove the fender liners, loosen headlights and anything else I can think of.)
Sat/Sunday we're heading over to a buddies shop and we should have the kit installed and running the same day if nothing goes horribly wrong. While we have the car on the lift i'll be working on the tranny solenoids at the same time.

That was a fun drive. The car is driving well. It started raining so I decide to leave the highway run for tomorrow. The TPS needs to be adjusted properly, so I'm gonna get out my VM and handle that later. Overall I'm very happy with the outcome and the car. It was well worth all the time and effort we put into it.
I've gotta thank everyone on the forums for all the support and help.
A very big thanks goes out to Gazi, Todd, Travis and Noel for helping me out with parts, labor etc. Without them i'd probably still be stuck trying to take the throttle body off. LOL.
Lets see what challenges the turbo brings!
