just finished my hardwire aux input.

I added a custom ipod dock in the ashtray.

Question

So did you get the connections off the changer itself??How does it sound??I just got an 80gb ipod and I want to run it through the factory head unit..

ya i just spliced it into the harness on the back of the changer. since you hardwire it in the quality is way better than any transmitter or tape thing. and my tape deck doesnt work and my cd changer skips alot. lol

Time to revive my thread.

Got a set of LS calipers for a good price. Still need to install these.



Found an awesome deal on suspension from a local CL member.



Got the JDM visors and strut bar too.

The suspension is ksports. they are alright, for the price you cant complain.
The jdm strut bar wont fit unless you get longer strut mount bolts, because the ksports are shorter.

Car is comming along nicely, ****er is bad *** I wish i would have done that and hardwire aux input for the ipod in the ash tray when i stil had my 1st gen
Rims and drop look great also.
I could only imagine what the LS brakes will feel like on a 1gs..

not much of an update. too busy with school.

just need to cut the trim piece.

im thinking of making a new ipod dock that works with iphone. lol
