update on soarer build v 2.0
The build continues, today I fitted the intercooler, installed a/c condenser, engine bay chassis harness, installed gas tank.
btw this new car was a shell, no engine trans, no front body panels, no fuel/brakes lines nor gas tank.
I ordered an aftermarket intake and due to the angle I relocated the battery to the pass. side.
here is another picture of the cf seibon hood, I know some thought it would be better carbon fiber but now with the bumper on I really think it looks great.
tomorrow I hope to install the rear crossmember and fuel/brake lines.
I was going to chrome everything in the engine bay but the cost was too much, because once you start chroming you gotta do it all.
So, I got a different idea and bought a powder coating kit for $70 on ebay and bought a pound of translucent black powder for $16.
Im going to polish what I can and powder coat the parts for a black chrome look.

I've worked in powder coating before and think its the hottest idea for people to start doing this to the soarer. More durable, cleaner and just as many finishes and colors available as paint . Should turn out nice as all .
