Cyl 1, 3, and 5 misfiring
Was replacing alternator, everything was goin fine, I had to unplug my MAF to get clearence at some point. I forgot to plug in the MAF before starting the car and drove around the block with it unplugged, drove fine for a minute, then got a CEL for the unplugged MAF and misfires. Plugged in the MAF and the cel for the unplugged MAF went away, but the misfires for 1, 3, and 5 stayed. Im kind of stumped, as its hard to believe something else would fail that bad ad that exact time. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
I'd try disconnecting the battery and do a hard reset. Use something long enough like a screwdriver or ratchet to touch the positive and negative cables together, (not the battery terminals) but the cable ends. This will deplete the memory and start fresh. But you must also clean out the throttle body of any carbon/oil build up so the idle relearns right. Otherwise it will be low idle and stall out.
