Do you, but BBS is a superior brand and Forged wheels are superior to cast wheels. That's not to say cast enkeis wont hold up to tracking...
I believe that your comments are more subjective than you mean to convey, and I don't believe that BBS are superior. I'm not meaning to be flippant, just that the BBS are not attractive in my opinion, and should be much heavier. I'll be measuring the latter when the GTC02's arrive.
While on paper there definitely is a delta in strength favoring the forged BBS over the cast Enkei, it's tough to fully quantify strength. In my career in R&D, it was easy to quantify the differences in material strengths by comparing samples of varying composites, equal in size and subjecting them to incremental stress tests. However that isn't the full story in a manufactured product. There are advancements in manufacturing techniques, design aspects, and composite abnormalities that all add variables and make a statement of Wheel A stronger than Wheel B impossible to quantify without structured tests in a head to head manner with a large sample size... and I don't intend to do destructive testing on either of my wheels sets.
Let me be clear, I am not implying the BBS are less "strong" than the Enkei's. What I am saying is that the Enkei's should be plenty strong enough, and have track proven themselves. So for me personally, I feel the Enkei's are superior (obviously, I bought them) in looks, hopefully are lighter by reasonable margin, and should be plenty strong enough for occasional track use.

Looks good. The rubbing must be due to lowering. I am on stock height and have spacers on. Never had any rubbing issues even while approaching steep entrance etc.
Yeah, the RS-R springs are soft and lower the car too much for my liking. I intend on coils eventually, but may settle for finding a set of stock springs to bring back the firmness I want in the suspension for a temporary solution.

True. For the reasons you mentioned, people have blown their shocks with RS-R. Good idea on the coilovers. The spring rate on the rear for RSR super down is quite OK on the RS-R super down (about 14 KG.M), but the fronts are too soft. I think around 8 - 9 KG.M so the front ones are the more prone to blowing out.
I figured I'd add one more shot to bring the thread completely up to date. We refinished the garage a few weeks back and I managed to get the clean aesthetic that I had been wanting for a while now.
Really great photos man! You can mark "completed" on your goal of better photos!!!
Thanks. There's still a lot to learn. While I feel I have a base understanding of the triangle, its the "art" I feel I'm missing in composition. I'm always focussed on that when I shoot now.
On the weekend I made it out of the house for a drive in the LS. We've been cooped up with Covid and finally felt well enough for a drive into the hills for some shots. Here's one of my faves from Sunday.
Cross posted to my thread from one of the other stickies.
Retro vaporwave livery has been applied, and I'm digging it. It's Tron meets Miami. Admittedly it's not for everyone, but I'm digging it. Apparently the rally in two weeks has already awarded me points based on having a livery applied for it. Best of all it was sponsored by the best PPF/Detail/Wrap place in Alberta. Of note is that none of the livery was printed. It was all layered individual wrap colours to really have the colours pop. Incredibly complicated given the theme.
The full reveal will be once the summers are on this week (hopefully). The snow tires detract from the overall aesthetic.
Livery has been complete for a week now, and Friday the wheels were put on. This week the longer studs will be pressed in and the rears will have 15mm spacers added. Tomorrow I’ll weigh the old and new setups to determine the weight savings.
