I just purchased a GX460 2010 with Ecru (ivory) leather seats and the driver's seat needs repair. After sourcing my dealer's upholstery guy (repairs about 150 cars/month) he doesn't have an active source for the "diamond" perforated leather. Any suggestions? I'm patient enough to have it sourced from Japan. Thanks for any suggestions!

 

Replacement cover from Lexus is around $600 (assuming still available which I doubt) short of that not sure you would get a matching material. Maybe get lucky at a salvage yard.

 

Thanks for the suggestion about a salvage yard. I did check with Lexus and new seat covers are approx $2,000 not including installation.
