Default Help...how to remove tape sticky substance...

Does anybody know what i should use to remove masking tape that was tape on my car's window due to one of the window wouldn't able to roll down. I tape up the window with masking tape and its been on there for about 3 week. Now when i pill it off...there's still a sticky residue still on the paint of the car. What should i use before i mess up my paint? There's also some on the black outer door trim panel.

Use hand sanitizer. It took the tape residue off of my dad's car with out ruining the paint.

best window stuff i've found for windows so far is called "20/10"

no idea where you get it, the bottles we have are quite old, but it's amazing at taking anything off glass

Best choice IMO is Goo Gone. Citrus smell, no oily residue to clean up after. Just wipes clean once adhesive has been removed.
