Which paint?
I am going to repaint the two side metal moldings that run down either side the length of the windshield. They are black in color and the paint is chipping away leaving the silver metal showing.
The one on the drivers side is especially worse. I wanted to re-paint it using some Rust-Oleum High Performance enamel and a Rust-Oleum primer.
These are outside and exposed to the elements so I was wondering if any one had any thoughts on whether this was a good or bad idea?
Maybe I should purchase some automotive black touch-up spray paint instead, like from Pep-Boys or Auto Zone.
Is there a difference between that paint and my original idea that would make an appreciable difference?
Thanks for your thoughts.

If you haven't looked yet, check out the spray paint cans from paintscratch.com. From what I've heard and read, their paint matches the OEM very well. But I'm just wondering... why spray paint? The moldings are not that huge in surface area, and I would think some dealership bottled touch-up paint is sufficient. Just trying to understand, that's all...
I've heard good things about this product, but have not personally seen the results.
