That said, please provide more information and pics if possible, on what your objective really is with painting your leather seats? Firstly, leather seats should not be cleaned with household cleaner or any sort. You are asking for allot more problems.
Post a pic or two so that we can understand what your condition/issue is and then we can provide more constructive responses.
In the interim, have you at least tried Lexol leather cleaner followed up with Lexol leather conditioner?

Try looking into Leatherique, they are supposed to have good leather dyes, some shops though use spray guns to paint the seats that will give a better finish if large areas need to be repainted.
