Ceramic Coat
Hi, I never done this before so I have few questions to experts here in preparation for my new NX:
1) Is Sonax ceramic coating good?
2) Is 2 layers enough?
3) Sonax coating application Including wheels application for $750 Canadian cash, is that a good price?
4) Should I do ceramic coating or have professional car wax done twice yearly?

Sonax paint coating is a brand new product... not much real world information exists to my knowledge, however Sonax states it should last "up to 1 year", which is half as long as most consumer grade coatings. Products like CarPro CQuartz and Optimum Gloss Coat claim around 2 years of expected life, and products like GTechniq Crystal Serum Light and 22ple HPC claim 3 or more years of life. If I were paying for a ceramic coating, I would opt for a more durable product.

Not sure, only used Cquartz

One layer was good enough for me

Rip off. I bought the Cquartz 30 mL bottle for $48.99 USD and I only used half of the bottle to coat my car (IS250).
4) Should I do ceramic coating or have professional car wax done twice yearly?
Ceramic coating is so much easier to maintain than wax. Wish I would have learned about it sooner
