New 2016 GS350 multiple scratches, help!
Hi everyone, first post here. I've been enjoying and babying my new GS350 (bought 5/31) in liquid platinum. To my horror today when I walked up to it I noticed the front corner had multiple scuffs/areas of missing paint. Most of the black marks wiped off, but some areas are down to bare plastic. I know it being on the front is suspicious for me bumping into something, but I've been uber careful and the parking assist sound alerts me before I get even close to hitting something. The only thing I can think of is I sometimes back into parking spots and my work parking garage can be pretty ghetto, so I could've been swiped by someone next to me.

I looked online - and Amazon has pens, bottles, and sprays by PaintScratch Automotive Touch up Paint. The prices are not cheap but not bad considering how many scuffs I have.
Should I wait for my 5K service and have the dealer fix it, or should I try one of the products? I was thinking of the pen for ease of use, but the multiple little scuffs make the spray seem more effective. Thanks so much for your help... your first scratch on a car is always the hardest, and this one is outright terrible!

Someone swiped my front while reversing and left similar marks on the front grill and bumper. The second scratch looks like the bumper hit a kerb though.
You can polish most of it away but you'll have to repaint the areas that have been scratched to bare plastic. My car's pearl white and the scratches went down to the white primer, so I just let them be.

I would try to polish out what you can, you will be surprised what polishing will remove. I would use a dedicated polish over Scratch X first though Scratch X is pretty decent. A random orbital machine will make a big difference.
I would do a little research on applying touchup and watch some video's. Just dabbing some touchup on spots can sometimes make defects look even worse if not done correctly. Taping around the spot, applying it very lightly, then some wet sanding and polishing can have good results. Dr. Colorchip is easier to work with but it is really expensive now.
