Default Wetsanded now hazy

The other day someone must have backed into my RC-F, and left no note behind! Thankfully it wasn't too bad, just some minor scratches, all of it did not go down to the clearcoat (doesn't catch my nail when I run my hand across them), so a local body shop very lightly wetsanded it down with 2500 sandpaper. Do you think I could buff the haze out by hand, or should I take it to a detail place with a proper orbital polisher and ask them to buff out the one spot?

2500 grit? Why the heck did the body shop just leave it after sanding?

You'll likely be able to get most of it out by hand with some compound and polish if you're just working in a small spot, however a random orbital machine would certainly be quicker and easier.

Quickly corrected with M105 / M205.

Thanks for the pic! It wasn't their fault, I told them to leave it to the detailers to buff it out.
