Squashed leather from entry/exit
so this might be a really dumb question, but here it goes:
is there any way to treat or condition the leather on the left side of the driver's seat cushion? i've had 4 lexuses in the last 5 years, and each time the leather in that area gets "squashed" from the everyday entry and exit of the car. i know you guys know what i'm talking about!!
i'm trying to prevent it from happening so quickly on my new RX330, but it's starting already! first, it gets crease lines in that part of the cushion, then, it starts to appear more and more squashed. it's an irreversible effect, as far as i know, but if there's any way of slowing it down . . . please let me know!
and no - i am not a big, heavy person and no - i don't just "jump" into my car like a maniac. i enter and exit in a very ladylike fashion

I hear you on the problem, man. This is a rather weird one for Lexus cars in general. My ES has that on both the driver's and passenger's seats, but somehow the problem doesn't really get to me through all the years, although I tried to compress the seats back into position one time but to no avail. This sounds to me like a design problem the Lexus engineers should have overseen in the first place!

The only thing I can think of is to have an upholstery shop put some higher-density foam padding in that area. It wouldn't cost much, though it might affect the comfort of the seat, being a bit firmer. If you do it, have them do both outer panels to make the look / feel uniform.
