Perhaps the "two-bucket" method with a soap or shampoo with good lubricating qualities, a high quality mitt, and high quality drying towels or perhaps a blower. Meguiar's Gold Class Soap/Shampoo is one suggestion.

Croftgate Wash and Wax (1 bucket, 1 Gallon of Water and 1 Microfiber towel) for washing. There tire and wheel shine is also excellent along with there QD and spray sealent. Sorry...don't remember the name of those. See Vic at Croftgate New Jersey. He is a great guy. Met him at the Sturgis Mustang Rally this summer.

I agree. That's my method of wash. I use Meg's gold class with half an ounce of ONR mixed in to provide more lubrication, cleaning power and shine

I use the two bucket method. I've been using Meg's gold class for over 5 years and am very please with it. Recently I started adding dawn dish soap since it's known for removing old wax.

+4 on the Two Bucket Method

I hadn't heard of it up until like 6 months ago or something when I ran across the article below on Pinterest of all things, haha

http://www.carcarefanatic.com/car-de...car-wash-tips/ pretty cool write up on how to do the two bucket method

The site also has a list of top car wash soaps: http://www.carcarefanatic.com/top-10...ar-wash-soaps/ I bought the Griot's soap after reading through that site and have been very satisfied with it.

1 bucket, 7/10 quality MF towels, distilled water (depending on how dirty the car is) Adams Car Wash Shampoo, Optimum Car wash... utilizing the Gary Dean Method. i've been doing it for a while now and there is 1 clear coat scratch on my car.

sydtoosic, thanks for sharing.

Gary Dean Method seems awesome, I never thought of doing that!

I think this will be a great solution during winter months in the garage.
