Default Rain-sensing wipers and diluted ONR....

The detailer used diluted ONR on my windshield... Now my rain-sensing wipers aren't working,
The car is 2 years old with less than 3K miles. Any connection? Feedback please!

I don't see how ONR caused your WW to malfunction. I wash my car twice a week with ONR and ONRWW... The whole car, and I've had the car since March my WW are fine, you need to take her back to Lexus and find out what the real problem is. Is the rain sensing option turned on ? Your detailer may have fiddled with it and turned it off.

Gotta agree with sydtoosic, using ONR is unlikely the cause of your problem. In addition to using ONR on my windshield, I've used an electric dual action buffer and various compounds, including using a clay bar and all with no effect on the function of the rain sensing wipers.

The electronics are inside the car. Did the detailer work inside the car? Have you blown a fuse? Is there a setting in your navigation system you've changed? Do your wipers work at all?

there could be something covering the rain sensing sensor, or it malfunctioned.

Wipers do work. Wasn't hard downpour so maybe that's the issue.

Occasionally, with mine the droplets must be moving. If they are just sitting there nothing happens.

I've always found that a clean windshield, both inside and out, using conventional methods, along with good blades works fine in all conditions.
