Default Rock chip repair in hood

Ok so found this lovely guy after cleaning up the car from the mega meet yesterday . I've used Dr Colorchip before but not on anything this large or deep. Any suggestions for what I can do ?

I had the Langka recommended to me for a different car, but was a little disappointed. I was eventually able to make it look ok, but it wasn't as easy for me as they said it would be. Maybe it was just me.

Be careful with the. color matching! I started to repair a rock chip on our Starfire Pearl RX a while ago, and the touch up paint I got from Lexus wasn't even a close match. The white was so much brighter that it stood out like a neon sign! It turns out that some of their paint (the pearls?) are 3 stage paints, and the second stage impacts the color of the first (base) stage. In my case, the base is a much brighter white. From what I was recently told, the second stage (with the pearl) changes and mutes the color a bit. Maybe you just have to suck it up and do the 3 stages in the chip repair, or maybe some touch up paints simply match the final color with their base to make it a 1 stage repair. I would be interested to hear how others deal with the 3 stage paints.

That said, I have read that Dr Colorchip paint matches up very well.
