Toothpaste to clean headlights?

I guess I was just going by my experience. My fog covers were so bad I would have been there for hours using just plastx.

I agree that pictures are a must. Now that I think about it some more, maybe he just has some nasty bug juice on the headlights or something...

I'm not going do it until I hear some experiences from people here. I was just curious because someone mentioned it in the ES forum

don't forget to top off with a UV sealant/protectant, otherwise the housings will yellow up within a few weeks...

The toothpaste will be fine (not sure how much it will really help). With wet sanding, remember you will need to have access to a machine polisher restore the clarity after polishing.
