Default Conditioning windshield wipers

Does anyone treat their windshield wipers with a rubber protectant or other product for improved performance and better longevity?
I'm NOT talking snow or ice as I live in a temperate climate
I once used 303's windshield wiper conditioning wipes, but I never experienced much of a difference.
Thanks

In theory you can condition the rubber a little bit to keep them lasting longer. However since they are exposed to all the elements virtually all the time I'm not sure how effective it will be. I typically just recommend cleaning them with a little APC or the 303 Wiper Treatment like you mentioned. This helps the blade stay clean and smooth so you can maintain constant contact with the glass.

Side note: Another way to make a huge improvements in your results is to deep clean the glass with the Glass Science Glass Scrub. It does an amazing job of removing stubborn build ups in the glass. After this you can protect the glass with a sealant or the Glass Science Rain Clear.

Hope this info was helpful!

One thing Greg forgot to mention is you should polish the glass so it will be perfect to see out of and those wipers will never have a problem. This kit works wonders for your glass............ we also have the for rotaries also.

I think that more important than keeping the wipers conditioned, is keeping them clean. One of the things that makes them ineffective is the buildup of everything that is on your windshield, coating them as they are used.

I like using the Einszett Plastic cleaner. It removes oxidation and all other contaminants from the wiper surface, keeping it as effective as day one until they physically fall apart from use.
