Headlight resto
Hi this is how to restore your headlights.
You will need a cup of soap and water/2000 grit sand paper/high speed buffer/
2 rags/MOTHERS Carnuba cleaner Wax/and a finishing wool pad.
(1)Clean surface. Use 2000 grit sandpaper with soapy water and wet sand the headlight.Sand surface well. And make sure to keep surface wet.
(2)After you sand the surface well wipe surface with 1 of the 2 rags.Make sure surface is completely dry.
(3)Get your high speed buffer and Mothers Carnuba cleaner wax.Apply the MOTHERS Carnuba cleaner wax to headlight not to the pad to the headlight. Then take the buffer with the finishing wool pad and smear the cleaner wax over surface. Then start to buff the headlight.I had my buffer at 900rpm.Make sure that surface does not become dry if needed apply more cleaner wax.
(4)After you are done buffing wipe the surface with the second rag.
Then if you did every thing right your headlight should look almost new.
Here are some before and after pics of my sc300.

Ay buddy, did you bother to look at the top of this subforum? There is a thread EXACTLY about this. Should have added your post there instead of making a new thread about the same thing. Perhaps a mod can move your stuff there.
Also, good job, looks much better

No. no way.But maybe on your car.Well if your clear coat is shot and is missing a lot of it no there is no way.
But if your clear coat is still good but the paint is oxidized and that type of thing
then there is a way.Buy some MOTHERS Carnuba cleaner Wax and some Liquid Glass polish and it will make the paint look almost new.If you have a high speed
buffer than you can make the paint really shine. But if you don't than just use what ever you got including elbow grease.
