Default temporary car bra

Do you guys think a layer of printer's tape with a layer of duck tape and another layer of painter's tape will suffice for a temporary car bra? I plan to go to Yosemite National Park in two weeks and I have absolutely no time to get a clear bra installed until afterwards. I know there is a lot of rocks and debris along the roads so I want to take some precautions to not end up with chips everywhere.

just use lots of painters tape. I wouldn't use duct tape cause it might be too sticky for the paint

yea, a few layers of painters tape followed by perhaps a layer of the dupli color spray on temp bra should be fine?
