i had some pretty bad black smudges on my headliner and top part of the A pillar after i got it back from the bodyshop. i used some resolve foaming action stuff and it was able to get all the smudges out except one. it got most of it out but u can still see a very light black smudge if u know where to look. if u don't u probably wouldn't notice it.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant as well for the entire interior. Although I've never used it on the headliner, I use it on everything else, leather too.

I use the degreaser, the purple stuff, diluted. Cleans everything on the headliner and carpets. Not harsh, but cleans all the gunk.
