when i use the pc to polish the car, do i continue doing it until the polish is gone or use a micro fiber/pad to clean it up?

you continue on until there is a thin (almost invisible) layer of polish. dont polish it dry, because you can introduce more swirls/marring. Dont wipe off to early either because the polish hasn't been broken down, and you can be rubbing the abrasives, which in turn causes more problems.
