Default Cleaning headlights, remove rubber?

I’m in the process of cleaning my headlights (1st one is off anyway). I’ve look at many threads. Is it recommended to remove all of the rubber prior to heating? Will these pieces get harmed at 200 degrees?

I'm about to fire up the oven, anyone used the oven method of removal with the rubber pieces left on? Any problems?
