Default Black Pearl Emblems

The factory gold emblems on my ES have started pitting, so I've decided to replace them. I still have the original chormes in mint condition, but would like to stick with gold or upgrade to black pearl. Does anyone know where I can get a set of these for a good price? Also, is there a simple way to change the chrome emblems I have to black pearl? If I do decide to reuse my chromes is some form, what kind of adhesive would I use to re-attach the emblems? Thanks.

Check with our forum sponsors Carson Toyota (www.l-tunedparts.com) and Sewell Lexus for these parts - they get our members good deals on items like these. I think Sewell Lexus had a group buy on these exact items posted some time ago in the ClubLexus Approved Vendor forum.

There are a LOT of threads on how to take the badges off... not sure on replacing your existing badges. New ones would come with fresh adhesive.

EDIT - here's just a small start. I searched for 'debadge' and 'how to debadge'

At least one member has pulled off their badges and repainted them.

Anyways, Sewell lists them for a 300.00 a set. Since I still have the set of chromes, it would save me alot of money if I could just modify them in some way. Does anyone know how the OEM Lexus ones are made? If I did decide to paint them , what kind of paint should I use?
Yeah, if I've done a search for somebody else I just look for where I put it and paste it back in .

Try this deal to see if it still works (75%)... you might get lucky.

If you decide to paint them, look at that last link I posted - it has types of paint lower in the thread.

FWIW, I would suggest you have them anodized black, instead of painted. I think they'd look richer in quality and anodized stuff is extremely durable. I'm sure you could have them all done for a fraction of the $300 price tag of new dealer ones.
