Just thought I would pop in and compliment you atomic silver 3IS owners. I parked behind one this afternoon and thought the color was very sharp, unique but still classy. This particular car had the flaxen interior and luxury package.
I maybe wrong about this but I feel that the atomic silver is kind of underrated. All these people (including myself) with UW or obsidian or even ngp and few with atomic silver. Some of the nicest builds on here are that color to be honest. I'd like to see some more though...
Before I purchased my atomic silver I was set on white. Once I saw the only atomic silver on the lot, I knew I had to get it. And I'm glad I did because all I see now are white IS's. What I love most is that it looks different depending on the lighting.
Atomic Silver is a colour which I cannot decide on to be honest. It looks great in the showroom and great when the sun is shining, but looks so boring when its dull and raining unlike white which looks great all year round. Might be why there are very few Atomic Silver cars here in the UK!
I ordered my Atomic Silver IS 350 in January...and still waiting to hear some word on it from my dealer...but still nothing....I wanted the cold weather package, and was told I would have to special order the car ,in order to get that package....was going to order black, till my brother convinced me that Atomic Silver would look sharper

That sucks. I hope you get your car soon.
Atomic Silver is the best color. Like Corrado said earlier, there's a depth to it that isn't captured in pics. My favorite is when it has that greyish/olive green look.
Here's our new Atomic Silver, in the BC interior, about four hours from Vancouver. Super happy with the exterior color and the red interior. Quality of the paint is impressive.

That's surprising, especially given how Lexus seems to be a smaller player in the market in Canada than in the States. I noticed a lot of IS F-Sports in southern California over Christmas, but don't see very many up here. The white BMW 328xi is more or less the official car of Greater Vancouver; you must see 20 for every IS on the road.
You do seem to have more flexibility about options than we do, though. Here you have three package levels for the F-Sport, and the middle package (Premium) is mostly what's in stock. I would have liked to have had BLIS, but not for 3k extra to go to the Executive package.
