These LEDs are almost 3x the length of the stock bulb - it's hard not to notice.

^ Fascinating. That's definitely a change in design. How do you like them?

They're insanely bright, although - I don't have anything to compare them to except stock halogen.

Here are some photos for anyone who happens to get these updated(?) bulbs...

Opps, I overlooked the image in the link which had the dimensions. Now I see what you mean.

Just had a second look at the link again and decide to use the dimensions of those presently listed against the ones I have for the 5-SMD to do the math.

The diagram dimensions on the site is incorrect. This actually threw me off because when you said 3x longer - looking at the diagram the numbers did not add up in reference to the actual picture you had shown. My LED is slightly larger than the original dimensions of the bulb on the site.

^ Well, that explains the fitment issue. At least there's a workaround. Did you use blue as well Sango?

^

I thought about blue, but since my car is already USB, I went with white.

I replaced my city lights with the " xenon white " led from ijdmtoy and it doesn't match my 6k HIDs from them, the leds are more blue compared to the HIDs. I was wondering if anybody knew if the 5k city lights from vleds will match it better or is there something out there that will? Thanks.

Here's a link of the xenon white I got from them

For those of you who bought the trunk LED (http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81144-1-3.html), could you tell me how much you paid? The site says $13.99 and for the 31 MM it's an additional 79 cents.
However when I bought it, they charged me 0.79 plus $5 for shipping...so my total was around $6. Is it me or did I just get lucky?

I have purchased and received new bulbs from V-LED for my 08 is350. I purchased the flank bulbs in blue for the PUDDLE LIGHTS and DOOR COURTESY light. They are to long. Was unable to secure the clear plastic cover over the bulb for the courtedy light. Has for the PUDDLE...IT ended up gauging, scratching, damaging the lens housing (puddle) mirror finish and bulb did not work. Worked fine when I removed it from the housing...so it was not a bad bulb. I have requested a full refund via email and have not heard back from V-LED as of yet. Wishing you all better luck.
