My trunk LED is too big for the socket but I bent the socket and made it work. I got mine from precisionled.com.

Hmmm, maybe the 2009+ side view mirrors have tighter clearance, but I know people who've used this exact bulb in those without any problems. Are you sure you pushed it in all the way? Sanding it down should fix things though.

I have an 08 ISF and i didnt have any problems with the fitment on the 5000k puddle lights

but i did have to take of the mirror and remove the entire covering to get to the bulb as there was a black housing inside the mirror for everthing and that did not let the light house bulb housing drop out

Wink My reverse comparison

Ok,
while ago i got cheap 2x 42 LED SMD T10 168 194 Wedge Turn Signal Light White $7 reverse bulbs from Fleabay (couldn't pay $50 for v-leds)
Here's original post
as brociouz said, you don't know how bright they are until you compare.
As usual he was right.
Looking at the posts about CREED backup light($40) from JLC i start searching around and again i've found similar "creed" on fleabay for $28 not as fancy box as from Jlc

Here's my pics, on the left "new" ones.

Can't see diff during day light

Bulbs

Will c how long they going to Last

The CREE led's from JLC are only $40 shipped. I received mine within about 2 days. Those things are pretty stout, they feel like a lead weight.
