Back Story & Setup:
Unanimously, NTL members claim "the old Wednesday meets were the best we've ever had" in terms of attendance and good times. At many GTGs, long-timers and almost everyone else said, "Why don't we just start our OWN meet at the former Wed Night Meet location (Coit & Park in Plano)?!?"

I don't anticipate undue attention since this is (starting out as) an NTL meet, and who's to notice a bunch of Lexuses in a Plano shopping center parking lot?!? We're going to be exponentially more civilized than some of the moron-heavy meets some of us saw back in the day.

Potential:

• Drive in, Park it, Show it
• Hang out and chill with like minds
• Optional, when available, gawk at the halo cars
• Optional, when available, get a ride in the halo cars
• Come up with a route, print it out, off we go on a cruise
• Photo shoots
• Bring food/drinks and share
• Mexico?? Yeah right. Better mod it first, Junior!
• Thinking about mods? Check out cars that are there & chat with folks who've been there, done that.

Our group's NEVER been on a spot at an exact time, so if you're the first one there, park it and hang out.

The optimal Wednesday night? Go rep NTL and support one of our members by attending the Saigon Mall Lee's Sandwich meet - and then roll to the NTL meet location. Might as well make Wednesdays a night o' car meets - you are a car nut, yes?

 

Innnteresting. I need to get the ES out and give it a good drive, maybe this will work. Trying to convince my brother to come also as he's thinking of moving from BMW's to Lexus.

 

Will be out at Saigon Mall actually...if the wife is cool with it, might roll to Plano too.

 

Excellent! I was telling the Tuesday night folks about your setup and showing them pics from the "...everybody..." thread. It'd be awesome to have as many of the halo/benchmark cars as possible at this GTG.

I've gotten lots of "Woohoo!"s in emails, private messages and stuff.
This is what folks have been asking for. Let's see if they want it bad enough to attend and put something into it.

Where is that red square at? Is it behind the Grandy's or Firehouse Subs?? There's just too many parking lots over there.

 

I think its the area in front of Cici's but kinda near Grandy's.

I didn't end up going as we're expecting a baby any day now and didn't want to be away from the wife that far away. Be my luck she'd start contractions just as I pulled up. Also, dudes.. Gas prices, wtf.

Soon as we get this baby out and adjusted to the family we've got here, I'll be making more and more of these.
