Good video, and in HD!

With the exhaust installed you can't hear the intake anymore.

Yeah I kinda miss that dual stage intake sound, but with the new found power the old noise is forgettable.

Pretty much inline with the other guys. It's cool to see how even/consistent the power is between IS-Fs (and pretty interesting to see the consistency of the dynojets around the country also). I'm predicting more 117-118 mph traps for you (on a good DA day) and possibly 12.2 this year? I think we'll need about 400 rwp to break into the 11.99

Default Baseline dyno established (SIKKY header testing)

I have a new baseline dyno established today. The power is down considerably from my previous best run, but it was 95F so even with SAE correction it's not perfect and it shows. This clearly demonstrates the need for baseline runs that are done within a short period of product testing. Each day depending on the weather your car will perform differently on the dyno even with SAE correction!

Anyway, below is the baseline dyno that will be used for comparison once I have the SIKKY headers installed. The headers will be installed tomorrow, but I will not be back on the dyno again until next week so stay tuned. (pre-header video)

We'll in a few minutes I'm heading back to the shop with the Dynojet to see how the car does now that I have a few hundred miles on the headers. I will also be getting Air/Fuel for those eager to find out.

Looking forward to your opinion of the exhaust note with the headers and the JoeZ exhaust. Let us know or better yet do a sound clip once you get the sikky's installed.

I will definitely being taking some video of the car with the headers on and I will also post pictures of the headers installed on the car. I'll be at the shop all day while they do the install. She shop has their own dynopack dyno which they will being doing a pre and post header test with, but since we all like to see dynojet results those will be posted as well with miles on the car so that the ECU has learned.

Default SIKKY Header results (Dynapack)

Well it was a long day but a good one! I arrived at JE Import Performance in Baltimore, MD at 9:45 this morning. After the shop cars were moved out of the way for my car to get in, they did some baseline dyno runs. We did 4 runs total with the 3rd being the best of the 3, but all very consistent. 370.6 HP and 325.6 TQ. The car was moved to the lift where they began the work, which took them a good 6 hours. Keep in mind it would have taken much longer, but this shop has pulled the headers on/off this car multiple times. So the time now was around 4pm and we pulled the car out of the shop and took it for a good hard spin down the highway. Once back to the shop the car was put back on the dyno and given a good 10-15 minutes cool down. (until the JoeZ intake pipe was cool enough to touch) We ran the car 3 or 4 times. The first two runs, we had forgot to turn the A/C off which resulted in a 399 and 398 WHP runs. We get the A/C turned off and let the car cool for a few more minutes (again until the JoeZ intake pipe is safe to touch again) and immediately on the 3nd and 4th runs we are at 413.1 HP and 346 TQ.

YouTube Video

Best picture I could get of the headers installed on the car.

Now for the track, with those gains you should definitely see an improvement in trap speeds, et is going to depend on traction again.

Do you plan on taking it to the track any time soon?

Nice James great results and gains. Thanks for your unbiased and truthful dyno's like always...In your opinion worth getting? What does the microprocessor consist of? Any CEL's? Congrats on 400whp N/A. Do you think you would be able to squeeze out a few more horses if the weather was cooler? Jaslapp1 367=416, You 370=420whp? Hoping to see a near 12 second run at the track or let me get ahead of myself and I say 11's lol...Curious to what the results will be for the Elite headers?

I'd like to see if they work better with anti-reversion cones. The torque curve looks like it has a reversion problem at 5k rpm.
