I need to find out more about the LS430 that I am buying through a dealer at the auction. The car has a ML package, rear view camera and NAV etc., It does not talk about Blue tooth anywhere. Does this come with the bluetooth as well?

Can I call my local lexus dealer and find out about it? Would he also be able to tell me when does the 4 year warranty expire?

Can any one alos tell me where I can find the cheapest quote to obtain an additional 5 year/75000 miles extended warranty for the car?

....05 are in the book for about 30k on the wholesale book...add 2100 for the ml pkg, as far as the extended warranty...just go to the local dealer and they would advice you about the time left on the factory warranty and the you could also get the warranty!!

 

On a 2005, if you have Navigation, you should have Bluetooth.

If you don't have Nav, get a Garmin and you can get Nav and Bluetooth. I bought a Garmin 650 at Costco for $470 two weeks ago, but they don't show that model on the web, today. It was the lowest price I've ever seen for that unit and IMHO it beats the pants off the 2005 Lexus factory nav.

 

What comes with the 2 packages? Does both of them have blue tooth?

Yes, IF they have Navigation/Mark Levinson DVD stereo and that is standard with ML and UL packages.

I apologize in advance for bumping a six-year old thread.

I found a document that explains the packages available in Canada for the 2003 LS430.

For example, up here, Headlight Washers and Park Assist were standard. The packages were 'Premium' and 'Ultra Premium', with the 'Ultra Premium' not having the cool box available. Might be worth adding to the first post. Additionally, it sounds like you could get the 'Premium Package' without Navigation.

ive had my 03 for 6 or 7 months and I don't know anything about the park assist.

I found something in the display unit about park assist, where it monitors how close you are to the object in front and behind but I cant get it to work

What exactly is the park assist?

 

Parking sensors. Should beep when you get close to an object.

 

It beeps, shows a diagram on the dash display showing which area has triggered the sensors, and if you have nav, shows a similar diagram on the nav display. You will see four or so sensors on each of the front and rear bumpers. They are about the size of a quarter.

 

I hope someone can help. I have just purchased a used 2005 LS430 with factory navigation. Everytime I get in the car the Navigation says "Blueetooth Not Connected"

I cannot find anywhere on the Navigation system to setup for the phone or Bluetooth. How can I get the system to recognize my phone?

Any suggestions?

I LOVE THIS CAR I would love it even more if the Bluetooth would work.
