FS: IS Vaistech SL2VI iPod kit -- $185 shipped
I'm selling my Vaistech SL2VI iPod kit. This setup should work for any 2006+ IS (IS or ISF).
It's this unit: http://www.vaistech.com/dev/sl2vi.php
The SL2VI is currently installed so I have no pics. It includes all cables to hookup to the headunit as well as the cable to connect to the iPod.
I'm the second owner. I'm asking $185 shipped (buyer covers fees) Priority Mail for the unit. Selling because I have a ton of MP3 discs that I mostly use anyway and think I may have too much junk connected to my HU and want to reign that in. I have an 08 ISF with the ML headunit.
Located in So Cal, Irvine 92618. Would also consider trades for ISF parts or mods!
Can throw in a 80GB black iPod (I think it's a "5th Gen" unit) for only $40 more ($225 for both shipped). It's beat up and well used but works fine and has around 45GB of music on it ready for you to test things out.
Thanks,
Steve

It let's you browse the Ipod albums/artists and play that music via the touchscreen headunit. If you've used an mp3 disc before, it's as if that disc had 80GB of music. So you can click up/down to move between artists/albums and have instant access to GB of music.

MrBruin - I could maybe come down $40 without the iPod. I won't have much use for it without the kit so I'm trying to keep them together.
nara - It's this unit: http://www.vaistech.com/dev/sl2vi.php
I believe it does video but I've never tried. To play any video while the car is moving you need a dvd-bypass though which is not what I'm selling. I have that as well but I'm keeping it. :-)
This is just to use the HU to browse and play an iPod/iPhone.

No, it doesn't use USB. It uses the Apple cable to connect. Please see the link above...that webpage shows which models it uses and there are some PDFs that should connectors and such. I'm an Android man so I've never tried this with an iPhone.
Also lowering price to $255 shipped.
