Default ISF Borla Catback, practically new

Hello,

I have a Borla catback dual exhaust for sale.

I got it last November from street side auto. I have ppe headers on and installed the exhaust and drove it on for one day. It was too loud for me and possibly because I may not have properly tightened the band clamps and junction with the headers. I took it off and reboxed it. Two of the casted band clamp spacers are cracked but it still clamps down.

Anyhow, It has been occupying space in my basement since November and the Wife wants it gone.

I am in the SF Bay area and would like to sell it locally. I am asking 930 firm.

Just a heads up, you could buy a BRAND NEW Borla Catback for $930 shipped right now so you might want to lower your price a little bit, even though yours is basically new as well, but with cracked clamps.

Where in the bay are you located? Any pics of the cracked clamps and exhaust?

There is a thread one the ISF subforum with links to the vendors.

Gee thanks for the info/link, did not know streetside still had a special going on. Again, the exhaust is basically new.

Are you interested in buying another exhaust?

I'm just north of SF but work south of the city.

Spoke with Borla and they are sending me replacement castings. Their customer service is great.

Since you can get the exhaust for $930, I'll sell it for 890, firm. Haven't seen in since I boxed last year, but after taking pics of, it, it is a nice looking exhaust, almost getting the itch to put it on again.

I'll attach a clip a little later.

I've got the stock exhaust with PPE and it sounds fine for me. It has a more noticeable V8 sound but does not scream until you throttle it.

Awesome! Just curious how the stock exhaust would sound with headers, since I went *** backwards and ordered the headers before the exhaust! Thanks bro and GL with your sale!

Your welcome.

Getting the headers before the exhaust is actually the best way to go (IMO). That's what I did cause I wanted max gain and I heard that headers with stock exhaust are too loud. Turns out the car sounds like a true V8 and still roars when I gun it. I put a KN intake on but will remove it since it is noisy and ppl say it doesn't really to anything.

Got a 114.2 trap and 12.5 quarter mile even though I stink at launching the car.

You will be really pleased with the headers.

Those guys at Borla are quick. I just received 4 new band clamps, not just the castings. The castings on these are polished and the clamps look a little better than the originals. Only needed 3 so there is a spare clamp.

Send me a pm if your interested. Local SF bay area - $870 firm

Bump for nice exhaust and price. Even if it was the same price as a new one, help a fellow ISF owner out and buy this to keep the community strong.

It's basically new and only like $100 more than the axle-back version which makes it a fantastic deal IMO. GLWS.
