Yes, it does. I have an iphone 4 played video and music while getting a charge.

Yes, you can use your Navigation and control your ipod music from the navi screen.

I guess what im asking is if you can see the ipod menus on the screen. Such as playlists, lists of tracks etc. or are there only capabilities of skipping and rewinding? Lastly are there any bugs in this system as I've seen a few members experience issues with some of their vais tech units (may not include this specific model).
