I believe it should work with an 06, as long as it is satellite ready. This is the ipod unit where you either had the option for sat radio or ipod, but not both.

Also, newbie here, so please excuse the newbie question for anyone who may be able to answer it... Just picked up my IS350 Saturday. It has the 1/8" input jack for music, but also has XM installed. When I toggle the "Aux" it does not switch over. Do I have to have the iPod plugged in first for the IS to detect it or something?
